A clinical analysis of the effects of traditional Chinese medicine-based specialized care (herbal steam therapy + cervical spine care exercises) for patients with cervical spine disorders
颈椎病患者中医特色护理（中药熏蒸+颈椎保健操）的临床效果分析

摘要

目的 探讨中药熏蒸联合颈椎保健操的中医特色护理方案在颈椎病患者中的临床应用效果，为临床颈椎病护理提供科学可行的干预方案。方法 选取2023年2月—2025年10月本院骨科及康复科收治的100例颈椎病患者为研究对象，按照随机数字表法分为对照组与观察组，每组各50例。对照组实施颈椎病常规护理干预，观察组在常规护理基础上采用中药熏蒸联合颈椎保健操的中医特色护理模式，比较两组患者的临床疗效、疼痛视觉模拟评分（VAS）、颈椎功能障碍指数（NDI）及护理满意度。结果 观察组临床总有效率为94.00%，显著高于对照组的78.00%，组间差异有统计学意义（P＜0.05）；护理后观察组VAS评分、NDI指数均低于对照组，差异有统计学意义（P＜0.05）；观察组护理满意度为96.00%，高于对照组的82.00%，差异有统计学意义（P＜0.05）。结论 中药熏蒸联合颈椎保健操的中医特色护理可有效缓解颈椎病患者的疼痛症状，改善颈椎功能，提升患者护理满意度，临床应用价值显著，值得推广。

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical application effect of a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) characteristic nursing plan combining herbal steam therapy with cervical health exercises for patients with cervical disorders, and to provide a scientific and feasible intervention plan for clinical care of cervical disorders.
Methods A total of 100 patients with cervical disorders admitted to our hospital's orthopedic and rehabilitation departments from February 2023 to October 2025 were selected as the study subjects. They were divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group received conventional care for cervical disorders, while the observation group received a TCM characteristic nursing plan combining herbal steam therapy and cervical health exercises in addition to conventional care. The clinical efficacy, Visual Analog Scale (VAS) scores, Neck Disability Index (NDI) scores, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.
Results The overall effective rate of the observation group was 94.00%, significantly higher than that of the control group (78.00%), with a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). The VAS and NDI scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group after nursing, with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05); the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was 96.00%, higher than that of the control group with 82.00%, with a statistically significant difference (p < 0.05).
Conclusion   The TCM characteristic nursing plan combining herbal steaming and cervical health exercises effectively alleviates the pain symptoms of patients with cervical disorders, improves their cervical function, and enhances their nursing satisfaction. Its clinical application value is significant and worthy of promotion.
