Effect of safety care on elderly psychiatric patients: a randomized controlled study
安全护理在老年精神科患者中的应用效果：一项随机对照研究

摘要

目的 探究安全护理对减少老年精神科安全隐患的影响。方法 选择我院在2024年1月份至2024年12月份收治的100例患者进行研究，通过信封法分成对照组和实验组，每组50例患者，对照组患者为常规护理，实验组为安全护理管理，对比两组患者的服务态度、不良事件、生活质量评分。结果 护理后，实验组患者服务态度优于对照组，p<0.05，分析不良事件发生率，实验组4.00%显著低于对照组的22.00%，p<0.05，对比患者的生活质量，实验组高于对照组，p<0.05。结论 在老年精神科开展安全护理，可以提高护理满意度，降低不良事件的产生，提高患者的生活质量，值得提倡。

Abstract

Objective To investigate the impact of safety nursing on reducing safety hazards in geriatric psychiatry.
Methods A study was conducted on 100 patients admitted to our hospital from January to December 2024. The patients were divided into a control group and an experimental group using the envelope method, with 50 patients in each group. The control group received routine care, while the experimental group received safety nursing management. The service attitude, adverse events, and quality of life scores of the two groups were compared.
Results After the implementation of nursing, the service attitude of the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group, p<0.05. The incidence of adverse events in the experimental group was 4.00%, which was significantly lower than the 22.00% in the control group, p<0.05. The quality of life of the patients in the experimental group was also higher than that of the control group, p<0.05.
Conclusion   Implementing safety nursing in geriatric psychiatry can enhance patient satisfaction, reduce the occurrence of adverse events, and improve the quality of life of patients, making it a recommended practice.
